Concert Societies in Somerset

Forde Abbey is host to one of the country’s most prestigious chamber music series, the Forde Abbey Concert Society. The Great Hall has an ideal acoustic for chamber music, having often been used for recording purposes. It is also a wonderful venue for concerts which take place during the summer months. Each season, Forde Abbey attracts artists of an international level for a varied programme of music.

World famous musicians feature and we are proud of the diversity of our programmes. 

Concerts are all organised by The Milverton Concert Society, a registered charity (1107070), and are held in Milverton Parish Church by kind permission of the Vicar and Churchwardens.
