The Nicholas Yonge Society is one of the finest mainstream classical music societies in the South-East of England. To find out more information about this years concerts, becoming a member, the history of the Music Circle or artists from previous years - please follow the link The Blue Flash Music Trust takes its name from the Blue Flash Company formed by Captain 'Baggy' Middleton and other members of the Royal Sussex Regiment after the 1st World War to provide employment for out of work musicians. A blue flash on the shoulder was a part of the regiments uniform. The Blue Flash Company built a couple of Blue Flash cinemas, one of which was built in Horsham in 1923 to provide work for those musicians. Established musicians are engaged to provide recitals of high musical standard and varied content. Steyning Music Society has acquired a reputation for being one of the most welcoming and friendly concert promoters in the South-East. Concerts are presented at the Steyning Centre; a comfortable, modern community centre with first class amenities and free parking.

The name was changed twenty-two years later to Bognor Regis Music Club
Recitals are held in Regency-style premises, boasting a minstrels' gallery, (right) and ideally suited for the performance of small-scale works.
